Academic and demonstration versions of a number of tools based on COSYSMO research are provided here for potential users to evaluate. These tools are not meant to be used for actual cost-estimating purposes.  In order for COSYSMO to be effective, it must be calibrated to the organization and types of projects being targeted.  The COSYSMO Data Collection Form gives an idea of the type of information needed for calibration.

COSYSMO 2.0

COSYSMO 2.0 extends the original version of COSYSMO by adding the capability of handling systems engineering reuse. If systems engineering products are reused from a previous effort, COSYSMO 2.0 provides practical guidance and estimates the benefit/penalty associated with reuse on the systems engineering effort.

COSYSMO Data collection form
This form is used to collect calibration data from within an engineering organization.  COSYSMO can only be used for cost estimating once it is calibrated with data relevant to the systems being estimated.
